Mac Baren’s Mixture, Scottish Blend is a complex smoke containing Virginias, Burleys and Cavendish from all corners of the globe. 35 different leaves go into this tobacco. The flavour range is vast and ever evolving throughout the bowl but it all works very well together and always leaves you wanting more, even when nicotine cravings have been sated. Enjoyable as a beginner pipe smoker but more appreciable when you have that extra experience to distinguish certain leaf flavours from one another.

The mixture is made up of ready rubbed flakes of Virginia along with ribbons of Burleys and a a dash of Cavendish. Before packing, you may find an extra rub is beneficial, not only to loosen the leaves but for the nose too as it releases more of the gorgeous unlit aroma.
