The Savinelli Ghibli Rusticated Natural 6mm Balsa Wood Filter is a beautifully handcrafted briar pipe. This pipe collection takes its name, Ghibli, from the wind that blows across the desert and this has been captured within the design of the pipe.

Delicate illustrations have been hand carved into the natural briar to signify the patterns created in the shifting dunes by the hot summer wind blowing across the sand. The dusky yellow acrylic stem with a sandy marble band give this pipe a true desert finish.

One characteristic of Savinelli pipes is the Balsa System filters that clean the smoke without altering the flavour. Of course, the pipes can be used without filter too. The Savinelli Ghibli Rusticated Natural series takes a 6mm Balsa Wood Filter and within the box is a pack of five to get you started.

Achille Savinelli Sr. opened one of the first shops in the world selling exclusively smoking accessories and briar pipes in 1876. It wasn’t until 1920 the first Savinelli briar pipes were branded and produced in the Varese province.
