Samuel Gawith Bothy Flake gets its name from the basic short-term shelters found around remote and mountainous areas of Scotland. The tobacco is a Latakia and Virginia Flake with a seasoning of Scotch whisky, that has medium strength and gives a warming room note. Open fire smoky, the rich givings from the Latakia are woody and a little sweet, they dont smoke out the Virginias tangy citrus fruitiness. Peaty malt can be tasted and it works well with the earthiness of the tobaccos. These flakes are slow burning, they give plenty of smoke and will have you feeling welcomed and warm in no time.
