Arturo Fuente Hemingway Short Story Cigar – Single
The company was founded in 1912 by Arturo Fuente Sr, and located in Ybor City, Florida, which at that time was home to some 200 different factories.
Primarily a brand local to Tampa, in the 1970s, Arturo Sr. and his son Carlos decided to move the company to Nicaragua in search of new markets. The revolution there forced the company to relocate to the Dominican Republic, where it is still based today.
The Hemingway line, launched in the 1980s, proved popular due to its shape and blend. Today, it’s as popular as ever thanks to its medium-bodied qualities, which appeal to fine cigar smokers worldwide.
The cigar starts with a silky Cameroon wrapper with its spicy sweet characteristics, the binder and filler are both from the Dominican Republic.
The Hemingway Short Story is rolled at the Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia factory in Santiago. On first light, experience notes of cedar and maple joined by some woodiness and nuttiness which merge into a mellow haze. A cigar that will be remembered for its smooth smoking characteristics.
