Foundation Cigars Highclere Castle Senetjer Cigar – Single
Created to mark the 100th anniversary of the discovery of King Tut’s tomb by the famous archaeologist Howard Carter, whose expedition was funded by George Herbert, the 5th Earl of Carnarvon, who had a well-known passion for ancient Egypt. Evident by the abundance of artefacts still there today.
Senetjer is the ancient Egyptian word for incense, the cigar line of the same name is an attempt to illustrate the cigars being smoked when these discoveries were being made one hundred years ago.
The wrapper is Ecuador Habano with a Brazilian Mata Fina binder and an unknown filler. These perfectos-size cigars are rolled at the Tabacalera AJ Fernandez Cigars de Nicaragua S.A. factory.
Light up, and there are roasted creamy coffee and cedar notes straight away, with some pepper and dark chocolate adding to the experience.
Medium to full-bodied, the construction is excellent. Expect around 90 minutes of enjoyment.
